Salvations Wins Wm. Thornton Award

It’s an honor to announce that Salvations was awarded with the prestigious William Thornton award for excellence in craftsmanship this summer. It’s given each year to an American furniture maker by the MADE: In American Foundation, which recognizes hand-crafted design.

Our award recognized Salvations’ 30-year commitment to creating exceptional hand-crafted architectural furnishings that have set standards for innovation and design excellence, and we couldn’t be more proud.

It’s been such an exciting spring, as we participated with interior-design students who were using locally crafted furniture and decor to decorate the Carroll Mansion in Baltimore for the annual MADE: In American designer showcase. We donated several pieces to the cause:
